Overview
This eight module course affords the delegate a detailed technical overview of and broad insight into digital terrestrial television from first principles - compressions and transport of a digital signal - through to specific system outlines - the ATSC, DVB-T and DVB-S2 systems - as well as a comprehensive review of the global status of digital migration on a country-by-country basis, concluding with the most recent ITU-R recommendations.

Audience
The course, while pitched an intermediate technical level, has been developed for executive and technical management in mind, but remains accessible to content producers, broadcast staff and interested persons seeking to grow their understanding of just what DTT is.

Pre-requisites
The course is technical in nature, and it is assumed the delegate will have a reasonable understanding of analogue recording, ingest and broadcast technologies and principles. Some familiarity with digital audio and video systems would be an advantage, but is not assumed.
